My name is Mimi and I live in Paris.  Coming from the US it has been a big adjustment getting use to all the differences between the two countries.  

I have enjoyed finding the perfect little café, and settling down to do some serious people-watching.

Il mio nome è Mimì e vivo a Parigi. Provenendo dagli Stati Uniti ed è stato un grande adeguamento  adeguare tutte le differenze tra i due paesi.  

Ho trovato con piacere i piccoli caffè perfetti dove sedersi ed ammirare la gente passare..

People-watching is a popular pastime in Paris. I love this Art Nouveau café near the l’Opera.

   Guardare la gente passare è un passatempo popolare a Parigi. Io adoro questo Cafè in Art Nouveau vicino all'Opera.

The vintage dècor is authentic.

I decori vintage sono autentici.

 

 

The plush velvet chairs are the perfect spot for an afternoon treat.

Le sedie di velluto sono il luogo perfetto per una merenda pomeridiana.

The pink meringue alongside the coffee cup makes a sweet ending.  

Now that Spring is here, it is a bit harder to find the perfect seat.  

But when your timing is right, I can spend hours just sitiing, reading, sipping my café, and people-watching!

La meringa rosa accanto alla tazza di caffè è un dolce finale.
Ora che la primavera è qui, è un po 'più difficile trovare il posto perfetto.
Ma quando il tempo è giusto, posso passare ore solo quì seduta,, leggendo, sorseggiando il mio caffè, e guardando i passanti!
